Liability Insurance

Employees who are injured at work or become ill as a result of their work may try to claim compensation from the employer if they believe they are responsible.

The Employers' Liability (Compulsory Insurance) Act 1969 ensures that Employers have at least a minimum level of insurance cover against any such claims. As the title suggests under the Employer's Liability (Compulsory Insurance) Act 1969 and the Employer's Liability (Compulsory Insurance) Regulations 1998 it is compulsory to obtain insurance for all employees.
