Pest Control

Food pests can carry germs onto food and contaminate foodstuffs.   It is essential that kitchens are kept clean and pest free to ensure the safety of food.

The major pests are

  • Rats
  • Mice
  • Birds (especially pigeons)
  • Cockroaches
  • Flies
  • Pharoahs ant (relatively new to the UK, but an increasing problem). These do not look like the common ant, but are tiny and yellow/brown in colour.

They will enter your premises for food, water, warmth and shelter.
As the manager or proprietor of your business what are you doing to ensure the premises are pest free?
