Camping and Caravan Sites : Gas Safety

All gas appliances, pipework, valves, regulators and meters in premises should be installed, maintained and inspected regularly by a competent person.

The responsibility for gas safety in premises falls to the 'Responsible Person' who could be the Landlord, occupier or the owner.

The responsible person should ensure that any gas appliances (permanent or portable), and gas flues that you own and provide for use by your tenants have regular gas safety checks.
