Childcare : Burns and Scalds

Each year thousands of people suffer burns and scalds in the workplace.   In emergencies, quick and effective action by trained staff could help to ease the situation and reduce consequences.  Staff should be well trained and competent in first aid and there should be agreed, recorded and rehearsed actions in the case of an emergency.
