Pesticides and poisons can kill! If you are using a substance that may cause harm then you must carry out a risk assessment and put into place measures to control those risks. Detailed risk assessments must be carried out in conjunction with a chemical assessment (COSHH). Staff must be fully trained in the use of chemicals and protective equipment when dealing with them.
