Retail : Broken Glass

Broken Glass can be dangerous.  Ensuring that staff know how to deal with breakages, and the disposal of any broken glass, bottles or crockery is essential to reduce the risks of harm to both staff and the public.

The risks associated with broken glass are obvious although must still be addressed and managed.  If glasses, bottles or items of crockery break then you must ensure that they can be safely handled and safely disposed of by the staff...
