Woodworking : Preventing Access to Dangerous Parts

PUWER requires that the best practicable means are taken to prevent access to dangerous parts of machinery.   Access (where practicable) to cutters or other dangerous parts should be prevented by guards or barriers. Where is it not possible to prevent access to dangerous parts then a combination of other guards and, protection devices should be used, and these should be reinforced by information and training.
